On Wednesday I played golf and made the best score 91.
I think it was easy to make a good score yesterday , because the weather was good and the grass condition was perfect too.
Furthermore there was no person forward!
It was a very suitable day for golf, so I appreciated my holiday!

After playing golf, I went to see the fireworks of Kashiwazaki.
It's known that is held near the sea and has nice collaboration between water and the fireworks.
I was surprised that 100 fireworks were launched at the same time.

Today I couldn't have a French lesson,for my coordinator had mistaken the time .
I was really disappointed because I had prepared for today's lesson so much!
But I didn't blame her because some mistakes could occur sometimes,
and I decided to expect the next lesson.

It was unlucky,but I was refreshed by meeting some of my friends.
We went to many restaurants;especially OKONOMIYAKI restaurant in Tokia was nice!
I'm planning to try a diffrent menu next time.

We went to firefly-watching tour after playing tennis.

A British boy Martin said he hadn't seen fireflies in his country,

Today I tried the eagle putt at the long course(477 yards).
It was the first time ,so I got really really nervous when I made the putt for the eagle.

My hands were shaking with excitement,and then.....
I missed the eagle putt and birdie putt too!!!
Eventually,I finished that course with par.

It was a sad story.
I could understand that a number of people fall down because of stress
when they are playing golf .

It was a very beautiful place,and the weather was also perfect today.

We decided to play golf again.

On Sunday I had been planning to ski and practice golf.
But I skied too much because the snow condition was really nice,so I gave up practicing golf.

STOMACH!

On Thursday I took the examination of my stomach,because I felt slight pain.

I chose the Tokyo Bay Clinic because they use the up-to-date system;endoscope via nose.
It is said that the patients have less stress with that system than via mouth.
I could speak while the doctor was checking my stomach with endoscope!

The doctor told me the result right after the examination,and I knew I didn't have to worry about my stomach any more.
There was no ulcer , no cancer at all, no pylori that would be risk of cancer.
It was a good experience for me as a pharmacist, maybe...

I'm happy to hear that he won the dual race.

We took a long lunch time to ski.
It was very warm,and we didn't need the ski jackets anymore.
The number of bumps has increased at GALA ski resort.

On Sunday the ski lesson of the Ski Association Of Saitama was held at Naeba Ski Resort.
The weather was not bad ,and we skied till 15:15p.m.
Our coach Secky taught us very kindly.
I could learn many many things ,and also enjoyed skiing and talking with people.

We took a long lunch break and skied at GALA-YUZAWA ski resort.
We met some mogul staffs,and enjoyed talking.
They were making big jumps like a picture.

We were very happy because of a lot of snow ,a lot of bumps,good jumps, and nice staffs and friends.

On Sunday we took a boat from Takeshiba to Odaiba.
Mike and Katie were surprised with a small version of the Statue of Liberty.
We enjoyed the veiw and some Japanese food there.
After that,we moved to Harajuku to meet my friend Satomi,and had a happy tea time.
Yumi often takes me to many good restaurants!

We felt so sad when we said good-bye,and we couldn't stop crying.
I should go to San Francisco to meet them in the near future!

At Tokyo station I had a dinner with Satomi,and talked a lot.
I was really relaxed with her because she is always so kind and gentle.
We talked about many many things.

When I was in Tokyo,my husband got the first prize at the competition of Kawaba ski resort.
I was very happy to hear that ,though I couldn't support him.

KARAOKE!

After the cherry blossoms picnic,we moved to Tokyo station to drink more.
My friend Katie and her boyfriend Mike joined us.
I chose a Japanese style restaurant CHAPON near the station,since they wanted to go to IZAKAYA.
My friend Saho also came ,though he had just moved from Aichi prefecture.

After drinking,we went to KARAOKE.
Mike really enjoyed his first KARAOKE!!
My ski-coach Jun said "It is the best KARAOKE I've experienced!"

Cherry blossoms

On Saturday we had a cherry blossom-viewing picnic at Kinuta Park in Tokyo.
The weather was super nice,and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom!!
After drinking and eating,we enjoyed INDIAKA,a game like volleyball (??).
I cannot explain INDIAKA well,but it was so funny.

Yesterday we stayed at Hotel Belnatio with some friends.
It was the first time to visit there in winter ,because I've been there only in summer to play golf.

Today we went to Echigoyuzawa station to pick up my friend from San Francisco.

I have an ache in my muscles around the shoulders.
It's because of yesterday's golf!
I shouldn't have practiced too much at the first time of this season.

Therefore,today I played the piano and read books and watched DVDs in my house.
I listened Fujiko Hemming's piano,and tried to imitate her,
but I noticed that the basic training is necessary for me now.

At night I had a relaxing bath time with the aroma oil of cypress.

Today I went for a drive to OBUSE in Nagano to meet one of my friends.
She came with her boyfriend , and he introduced a good restaurant MASUICHI.
Rice with chestnuts was very delicious because OBUSE is famous for chestnuts.

Since I hadn't seen her for a long time,we enjoyed talking very much.
I was so happy to meet her after a long separation.
In addition I could listen interesting things about skiing ,because her boyfriend is a very nice skier.

Today I went skiing after working.
There were very nice bumps ,and I enjoyed jumping too.
I tried to jump with higher speed than usual.

As the spring comes,I gradually feel like playing golf.
In May we'll have a small golf competition,so I have to start to practice.

The comeptition's name is "the competition for bad players"!!!
Please join us if you think you are a bad player!
Of course the good players who can put up with the bad players will be OK.
I'm thinking that it would be better to choose weekdays,because we wouldn't have to bother the others.

We were very excited because we bet the game fee and ice creams.

Today we went to Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort with my friends from Tochigi,
but we couldn't see the course well with a heavy fog.
Then we stopped skiing soon and went to cake shop.(AGAIN!)

Tonight I have a guest from France.
The coach of European Cup has come!
Today he watched the Junior-Olympic of mogul in Toyama prefecture,
and he dropped in my house on his way to Tokyo.

We're planning to go skiing with the members of the European Cup.
But I think that the drinking time might be main .

Today Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort was closed because of a strong wind,so we went to Ishiuchi ski resort.
It was really windy ,but we enjoyed soft snow.
There were a lot of bumps too.

My friends brought me a cheescake ,and we had a happy cake time at my house.
It was sooooooo delicious!!!
They said that cake is famous in Tochigi prefecture.
I want to eat it again!!!

In Tokyo

On Friday I went to Tokyo to meet my friend Yumi.
We met at an Asian restaurant CITA-CITA in Marunouchi Building .
In no time Yumi's husband showed up with his business partner Mike.
We called one more friend Hama because he was also around marunouchi.
Hama is always funny,so we laughed a lot .

After that we moved to Roppongi and joined some friends of Yumi.
We had a really good time.

My friend in Switzerland gave me a mail again.
His tricks were very impressive, and I cannot forget his cross-helicopter (360p) especially.
In the European Cup, Japanese members were astonished at his big DTS(Daffy Twister Spread).

In the mail,he said he was trying the new tricks ;frontflip and 720.
He always talks about MOGUL with great joy.
Every time I get his mails,I think he really likes MOGUL.

His team members do waterjumps with fireworks in their hands.
I saw 720 with fireworks for the first time on his homepage.
It's pity that the section of the videos is under construction now.

Next time he'll report the Swiss Championships.

Today we went to Ishiuchi Maruyama ski resort after working.
It was fun that we met some friends by accident.
But we came back soon because the bumps were very solid and dangerous.

Now I'm relaxing with the aroma of jasmine.

On Sunday we went to Nozawaonsen Snow Resort.
The weather was really bad ,but we were happy with a lot of bumps.

After skiing we went to the good cake shop Pattisserie Hirano in Iiyama city.
We chose WAGURINO-MONT-BLANCs(in Japanese) of the picture.
At the bottom of these cakes ,there are delicious sponge cakes.

I have already finished eating my cakes , and now only one cake is left.
Of course,that's my husbund's!
I must repeat " That cake is my husbund's!!" in my mind.
(But I'm expecting him to give me a little.....)

One of my friends sent me the photo of the wedding on March 5th.
The bride was my classmate of the university.
Because she is very beautiful and frank, she is very popular with many people.
Furthermore she has a pharmacist's license and a doctor's license.
And the bridegroom is a lawyer.
Unbelievable!

By the way I decided to participate in a certain event in April.
At that event we'll have a cherry blossom-viewing party with many French people.
It'll be a good chance for the cultural exchange!

Since the official ski competitions finished, now I have enough time to do many things.
I'm planning to study French a lot till that event.

the last competition

On Friday we had the last competition of this year at HACHIKITA　SNOWWORLD.
The weather was very bad and we couldn't see the course because of the dense fog.
We couldn't help stopping the competiton for a while,but eventually we could finsh the finals.

I could follow the famous sisters Miki Ito & Azusa Ito.
In the results there is a big difference between the second place and the third place,
but I was really happy to get the medal at the A-class competition for the first time.
When the director gave me the medal,I hesitated because I hadn't been used to.

At the same time, I got the right to take part in the Japan National Championships of the next year.
It was so lucky!

This competition was held at Hyogo prefecture,so we met many friends in Kansai area.
Though we didn't make an eating tour this time ,we had a small snack party at the lodge.

The Miyasama International Competition

On Sunday we had the second competition at the same ski area.
I had planed to attack thoroughly to take the better place than the previous day.
But that plan worked badly.
I made some mistakes in the middle of the course.
My place was the 9th ,so I didn't have to stay for the finals.
Then I left Sapporo for the airport,and had the third eating tour.

My friends who went to the welcome party of this competition seemed to enjoy eating too.

On Saturday the Sapporo competition was held at Bankei ski area.
In the finals I made my best run of this season,and took the 4th place.
I was very satisfied with the results.

After the awarding ceremony , I hurried to Korakuen Hotel and took part in the wedding party of my friends.
I got nervous a little to make a speech ,but enjoyed talking with many friends of the school days.

After training we made a second eating tour!
We went to Hihumi,a cheap sushi bar of Tanukikouji-street,and ate sushi and seafood so much.

On Thursday we flew to Sapporo for the MIYASAMA competition.
At the opening ceremony, we met Mr.Harada,an Olympic athlete of Ski-Jump.
We asked him to take photos together with hesitation,and he accepted pleasantly with smile!
What a nice person!

After that we made an eating tour.
We went to Uoyaicchou and Fruitscake Factory .
It's our usual course.

Some of my friends said that my husband resembles Mr.Harada.......

We've just come back from Listel Ski Fantasia in Fukushima prefecture.
We participated in the Japan championships of freestyle-ski mogul this weekend.

I was very happy to take pictures with Aiko Uemura. (a pretty girl in a pink wear)

We enjoyed talking with many people and eating delicious food at the welcome party.

It was the first time for me to be awarded at the Japan championships.

I was very surprised because I hadn't expected that.

Today some of my friends have finished the examination to be doctors.
So we promised to meet at GALA ski resort and ski together after a long separation.
I think they have starved for skiing for a long time.

Switzerland

Today I didn't go skiing and took a rest because of a dull pain in my back.
5days ago we came back from Switzerland, so today I'm going to write about the episodes of that travel.

In Switzerland we stayed at the town Sierre which is 2.5hours far from Geneva by car.
It was a very convenient place to do everything.
We skied at the very high place ; altitude is about 2300m~2500m.
When we arrived there ,some of us became mountain-sickness.

The mogul courses were easier than those of Czech,but a little icy.
We really enjoyed the competitions and the great views.
We could see the Matterhorn,a mountain which is 4478m high.
We had been mistaking the Matterhorn for another mountain for a few days ,
and we didn't realize the truth until the last day !

After the competitions,we went sightseeing in Geneva.
We had dinner at the restaurant that is close to the river Rhone.
Almost all menus were nice,but we couldn't eat non-sugar fresh cream.

Anyway ,the best thing of this travel was that we made friends with a lot of nice people.

On Wednesday night,we went to Nozawaonsen ski resort to support Osamu Ueno , an Olympic athlete who lives in Nozawa.
Many friends of Osamu gathered in the Nozawa town office.

We were glad to see Osamu in the finals.
I want to say great thanks to Osamu because we had a amazing time.
Some people said they had watched us on the TV.
We were surprised!!

Today I went to GALA ski resort with my friends.
One of them is the best freestyle skier among all of the pharmacists.
Her name is Izumi,very handsome girl.

The man in the middle of this photo is Mr.Daigo Hara.
Almost all freestyle-skiers know him,because he was a finalist of the Nagano Olympics in the year1998.
He produces these nice mogul-courses,and often comments for the W-cup moguls on the TV.
Today we were so happy to ski with him.

On Thursday we went to Iizuna-resort for the competition.
The people of this photo are my funny friends!

After the competition,we went to the snow festival in Tokamachi city.
A pro wrestler Animal-hamaguchi came to the festival,and he shouted as usual.

Finally we got back our skies.

This morning we got our skies that had been missing at the Geneva airport .
So tonight we'll be able to ski finally.
We were relieved because we're having the competition the day after tomorrow.

Tomorrow we have to go to the ski resort for training,and we took the holidays again.
After that training,some of my friends will come to my house and stay for several days.
We are planning to go to a good japanese restaurant together and talk a lot.

On Saturday we'll go to GALA ski resort that has nice mogul courses.
We'll be able to enjoy skiing without being nervous, because we won't have to think about competitions anymore this weekend.

Now I should clean up the rooms and prepare the bedclothes for my friends.

I've decided to start my diary in English,because it's easy to communicate with my foreign friends.
In this winter I went to Czech and Switzerland to ski .
It was really fun.
